"I don’t get why anything shows as available"
I keep finding shoes on dsw.ca that say they’re in stock, but then by the time I get to checkout, the size is suddenly gone. I’m confused why they show as available in the first place if I can’t actually buy them. It’s starting to feel like a waste of time checking the site.

"I’m still waiting on my refund after..."
I’m still waiting on my refund after a few weeks now, and every time I reach out, customer service basically just tells me to keep waiting. I get that refunds can take some time, but this feels like it’s dragging on forever. i was hoping this would be a quick thing and I could just move on, but here I am still checking for it. Frustrating overall, and I don’t think I’ll be ordering from dsw.ca again.

I emailed dsw.ca twice about my order and never heard back. I also tried the chat, but it didn’t really help either. It’s just frustrating when you’re only looking for a quick answer, if that makes sense.

"Tracking was basically useless"
I ordered a pair of shoes from dsw.ca and the shoes themselves were fine, so no real issue there. The annoying part was the tracking, which was pretty much useless the whole time.
For days it only said label created and nothing else changed. Then out of nowhere it suddenly showed as out for delivery, so I had no clue where the package actually was or when I should expect it.
I contacted customer service, but they just repeated the same tracking info I could already see. It wasnt the worst order ever, but it was frustrating enough that Id probably think twice before ordering online again.

"Exchange took forever, naturally"
I ordered a pair of shoes from dsw.ca and, in a shocking twist, needed a different size. I figured it would be a simple exchange, but nope, I had to send the original pair back first and then wait around instead of just swapping them like a normal person in the year 2026.
Customer service was polite enough, but the replies were slow and the updates didn’t exactly clear things up. I did eventually get the right size, so victory, I guess. It just took way longer than it really should have.

I checked online and it said the item was in stock, so I went to the store to grab it. This was maybe last Tuesday, or possibly Wednesday, I can’t remember exactly. Either way, when I got there, they didn’t actually have it. Frustrating when the inventory isn’t accurate.

I swear every time I try to use a discount code on dsw.ca, it either says it’s not valid or somehow doesn’t apply to almost anything in my cart. It’s always the same thing, code doesn’t work, items are excluded, or the deal just isn’t what it looked like. Even the sale prices changed after I logged in, which was really frustrating. it just feels like I’m wasting my time chasing promos that never actually work. I’m not ordering again...

There wasn’t much I liked today. The selection felt limited, and I was a bit annoyed because it wasn’t really clear what was available or if more options were coming. Better communication would’ve helped.

"Checkout was more annoying than it needed to be"
I found a pair of shoes I really liked on dsw.ca and was ready to just buy them and move on, but the checkout kept making it harder than it should have been, with my cart refreshing at random and the promo code box acting weird like it took the code for a second and then quietly removed it again.
I also didn’t love that the shipping cost showed up so late in the process, and after a few tries I finally got the order to go through, so the site technically works, but the whole checkout part feels messy, clunky, and kind of outdated.

I chose store pickup because I figured it would be quicker and easier, but that definitely wasn’t my experience. I ended up waiting around for a long time while the staff tried to find my order, and nobody seemed to know where it was. By the time I finally got help, it felt like I would’ve been better off just shopping in-store myself. I don’t think I’d use pickup here again.

"Decent selection, but the prices don’t really add up"
I’ll give them credit, the store has a nice selection and it’s easy to find popular styles. But the prices just don’t feel worth it. I found the exact same shoes for less at other places, even when this site was running one of their “sales.” It’s not a bad shopping experience, but I’d definitely compare prices before buying here

I was ready to check out, but the shipping cost pretty much ruined it for me. It made the whole deal feel not worth it, and the site had that kind of “no real person there” feeling, which didn’t help

I was disappointed with these shoes. I only wore them for about two weeks, just regular everyday use, and the sole already started peeling away near the front. It wasn’t a tiny scuff either, you could actually see the gap forming. They looked fine at first, but the quality just didn’t hold up

Dealing with the dsw.ca return policy was such a headache. When I ordered online, I figured returning shoes would be straightforward if they didn’t work out, but there are all these little rules and loopholes that make it feel like they’re looking for reasons not to make it easy. It’s not explained clearly enough upfront, and by the time you’re trying to return something, it just feels frustrating. Definitely makes me think twice about ordering from them again.

I ordered my usual size from dsw.ca, like the size I always grab without overthinking it, and when the shoes showed up they felt almost a full size too small. I had even checked the size chart before buying, so that made it extra frustrating because I thought I was being careful for once.
The return process was fine, nothing too dramatic there, but now I’m kind of side-eyeing the sizing. I’d probably only order again if I already knew the brand fit me, or if I could try them on in store first, because guessing online did not work out this time

"Felt brushed off during my return"
I went into DSW to return a pair of shoes I had ordered online, and the whole thing just felt kind of uncomfortable. The staff seemed annoyed before I even really explained why I was there, and I ended up waiting longer than expected even though there were hardly any people in line. When I finally got to the register, the employee didn’t really explain what was happening with the return or what to expect next, so I felt a bit left in the dark and rushed out. I do like their shoe selection, but the service in the store was disappointing. I’d probably only go back if I really needed to

The shoes themselves were totally fine once they finally arrived, so I don’t really have a complaint about the product. They fit as expected and looked like what I ordered. The problem was the delivery process. The date kept changing, and every time I checked, it seemed like there was a new update that pushed it back again. I understand delays happen, but it was frustrating because I was planning around the original delivery window, then the next one, and then another one after that. By the time the package actually showed up, it was much later than what I was first told. Overall, the shoes were okay, but the shipping experience was annoying enough that I probably won’t order online from here again.

Just a warning for anyone signing up for the rewards program: the points expire, and that makes it feel kind of not worth the effort. I was expecting to save them up over time, but if you don’t use them fast enough, they’re gone.
